What is a sprint?
Basically, a Merengue sprint is an event where programmers join together to spend time coordinately on improving Merengue: fix bugs, add new features, test and improve documentation.
Anywhere around the world can participate. So if you've never contributed to Merengue before, a sprint is the perfect chance for you to chip in.

Preparing for the sprint
Here are a few easy things you can do to make sure your time is spent effectively:
- Checkout the "trunk" version of Merengue (look installing instruction about it)
- Create an account in our ticket system. This will allow you to claim tickets you're working on.
